The Sole Imagineer - How It Works
The Sole Imagineer is a complex, strategic and exciting game based on CBS' reality hit, SURVIVOR. Castaways must compete in Imagineering challenges, strategize with other competitors and vote out a castaway of their choice. The goal? To be the last one standing, as the person with the most jury votes at the end of the final Imagineer's Council will be crowned THE SOLE IMAGINEER.
The Basics
All of the participating castaways will be split into two tribes. Before the merge, each tribe will work together to create an Imagineering concept based on a given prompt or challenge. Each episode will consist of one or more challenges and strategy within competitors, culminating in one or more castaways being voted out at Imagineer's Council.
Strategy
A major component of The Sole Imagineer is the strategy among players. Castaways can create alliances among each other and plot to vote out a desired member of the tribe. Everything is fair game, as all discussion within alliances happens in castaway started PM's that are shared with RMichael21 and any judges. Many twists, turns and surprises can come along the way as a result of strategy like blindsides and more!
Challenges
In The Sole Imagineer, there are multiple types of challenges that competitors will compete in. These challenges can include Reward Challenges, Immunity Challenges, Project Veto Challenges and Redemption Duels. Depending on each season's format, castaways may not participate in one or more of these challenge types.
Reward Challenge
Every few episodes, castaways will compete in a reward challenge. For these challenges, an Imagineering prompt will be given and the winning tribe (pre-merge) or individual player (post-merge) will receive either an advantage in the next immunity challenge or an advantage in the game. This variety of challenge will usually be shorten than an Immunity Challenge, usually lasting a maximum of four or five days. Finally, this variety of challenge will be played in tribes before the merge and individually after the merge.
Immunity Challenge
Every episode, castaways will compete in an Immunity Challenge. Like Reward Challenges, an Imagineering prompt will be given. However, Immunity Challenges can be considered more challenging, as there are more parts involved to them. Before the merge, the winning tribe receives immunity while the losing tribe will be sent to Imagineer's Council where they will be forced to vote out a member of their tribe. After the merge, the individual winner of the Immunity Challenge will receive immunity and cannot be voted out at Imagineer's Council. Every other castaway left in the game will be vulnerable and eligible to be voted out at Imagineer's Council. Immunity Challenge will be played in tribes before the merge
Project Veto Challenge
Every episode, castaways will have the opportunity to participate in a Project Veto Challenge. This optional, 24 hour challenge will take place once a week (the same time as a Redemption Duel in Season 2). Castaways that decide to submit a concept to a given prompt will submit through a private PM created by RMichael21. If a certain concept sticks out, that castaway will be secretly notified that they have been awarded the Project Veto. It is possible that no one will be awarded the Project Veto on a given challenge. The way this challenge is set up, no one will know if you have a Project Veto. It's the contestant's decision to tell other castaways or not. For more information on how the Project Veto works or is played, see its specific section.
Redemption Duel
Featured only in The Sole Imagineer Season 2: Redemption Island, castaways voted out will receive a shot at redemption once an episode. Those on Redemption Island will participate in a 24 hour challenge where they will compete against each other to move forward on Redemption Island. The loser(s) of the challenge will be eliminated from The Sole Imagineer for good. The winners will stay alive on Redemption Island. For more information on Redemption Island and its corresponding format, see the Redemption Island page.

Castaways that decide to submit a concept to a given prompt will submit through a private PM created by RMichael21.
Imagineer's Council
Every episode, some or all of the remaining castaways will visit Imagineer's Council. There, castaways will each cast one vote in their private Imagineer's Council Voting Booth PM. The castaway with the highest number of votes against them will be eliminated from the game. In the cast of Season 2: Redemption Island, voted off castaways will be sent to Redemption Island, awaiting their shot at Redemption. Each castaway will have 24 hours to respond the PM. If they do not respond in time, their vote will be cast against themselves. Each castaway only receives one vote and contestants may not vote on behalf of another player. If there is a tie, then everyone who is not involved in the tie will vote again for one of the people involved in the tie. If still a tie, those who did not receive votes against them must attempt to reach a unanimous consensus on who to send home. If a unanimous consensus is not reached, then the castaways who did receive votes in the tie will become safe and all others will "draw rocks" to determine who is eliminated. This means that RMichael21 will randomly pick a name out of a hat, and whoever's name is drawn will be eliminated.
The Merge
At some point in the game, the remaining castaways left in the game will be merged into a single tribe. From that point on, every challenge will be played individually, and all immunities and rewards will be won by a single castaway. Those who make it past the merge will create concepts alone, without help from other competitors or forum members.
Project Veto
Once an episode, a Project Veto Challenge will be given out. For more information on the Project Veto Challenge, see the above section. The winner of the Project Veto Challenge will receive the Project Veto through a secret PM. If one has the Project Veto, it will allow an Imagineer to veto their elimination. A veto can only be played when a person casts their vote in the confidential PM. If a veto is played, then all votes cast towards it's owner will not count and the castaway with the next highest amount of votes is eliminated. One person on each tribe is allowed to have the Project Veto at one time. In order to keep the fact that someone may have an Project Veto a secret, the mini challenges will still be played once a week, even if a castaway has a Project Veto. The only way of knowing that someone has it, is if you are in possession of it yourself. With the Project Veto, a castaway may keep the fact that they have it to themselves, or they may choose to share it with their alliance, or maybe even the entire tribe. It's all about strategy.
The Finale
Once three castaways remain in the competition, they will plead their case to the jury as to why they deserve the title of The Sole Imagineer. The jury is comprised of previously voted out castaways. After the final three pleads their case, the jury will vote as to who they believe should win the competition. The member of the final three with the most votes will be crowned The Sole Imagineer.
